5.1-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Oriental

(Eagle News) –A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Oriental early Friday, Aug. 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck at 4:28 a.m. It had its epicenter 119 kilometers southeast of Tarragona. The depth of focus was 13 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
