(Eagle News) — Over 113,000 quarantine violators were reported in Metro Manila since the implementation of the COVID-19 alert level 3 in the region. According to the Philippine National Police, of the 113,602, 10,932 violators were reported on Wednesday. 4.2-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Thursday, Oct. 28. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:13 a.m. It had its epicenter 222 kilometers southeast of Balut Island. The depth of focus was 32 kilometers. The earthquake was of tectonic origin. No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Thursday, Oct. 28

(Eagle News) — The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Thursday, Oct. 28: Flight schedules may change at any given time. MIAA advised passengers to coordinate with their airlines as only those with the confirmation will be allowed entry into the airport. The Bureau of Immigration said tourists are still not allowed to enter the Philippines even if they come from countries on the Philippines’ green list.
