4.7-magnitude quake hits Dinagat Islands early Monday, Nov. 8

(Eagle News) — A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Dinagat Islands early Monday, Nov. 8. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 2:09 a.m. It had its epicenter 14 kilometers northwest of San Jose. The depth of focus was 215 kilometers. According to PHIVOLCS, the following instrumental intensities were reported: Intensity II – Borongan City, Eastern Samar Intensity I – Catbalogan City, Samar No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.

MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Monday, Nov. 8

(Eagle News) — The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Monday, Nov. 8: Flight schedules may change at any given time. MIAA advised passengers to coordinate with their airlines as only those with the confirmation will be allowed entry into the airport.
