(Eagle News) — Over P2 million worth of illegal drugs were seized in an anti-illegal drug operation in Bukidnon on Saturday, June 5, the Philippine National Police said.
According to the PNP, also arrested in the operation in Poblacion West, Kalilangan were Jabir Dacula Mandok alias Bam, 19 years old; Jucair Mandok alias Joker, 30; and Sittie Mandok, 28.
The PNP said Jucair was top 2 on the municipality’s drug watchlist and top 10 on the provincial drug watchlist.
More or Less 300 grams of shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P2,040,000 were seized from the suspects, the PNP said.
“Ang ating kampanya kontra ilegal na droga ay mananatiling isa sa ating prayoridad ng ating programa na layuning linisin ang ating kumunidad sa ilalim ng Intensifed Cleanliness Policy (Our campaign against illegal drugs remains one of our priorities in our program to cleanse our community under the Intensified Cleanliness Policy),” Eleazar said.
He urged the public to support the campaign so the PNP can put a stop to the operations of illegal drug syndicates and illegal drug use.
“Ang salot sa lipunan na unti-unting sumisira ng kinabukasan ng ating mga kabataan (It’s a plague that little by little destroys the future of our children),” Eleazar said.
