Northeast monsoon affecting N. Luzon

(Eagle News)–The northeast monsoon  will bring cloudy skies and scattered rains in parts of Northern Luzon today.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said cloudy skies with scattered rains in particular will be experienced over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Benguet and Aurora.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains will be felt over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan, the bureau said.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and in Aurora Province.

The coastal waters, on the other hand, will be rough to very rough.
