(Eagle News)—The Land Transportation Office has opened a district office in Basco, Batanes.
The Department of Transportation said since it started operations on Thursday, Oct. 10, 17 licenses were produced by the office in Barangay Kayvaluganan.
Certificates of registration and official receipts were also issued.
LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante said vehicles can also be registered at the office, which can issue copies of traffic regulations as well.
The new office opened less than a month after another opened in Santa Fe on Aug. 5.
