If I am not mistaken, the trailer was uploaded by Viva Films at about 24 hours ago or so. I assumed that a lot of brethren already watched it as I have also received a lot of text messages saying that the trailer was released yesterday. While browsing Facebook, I also saw a lot of brethren sharing the movie trailer, and if you can sense where this story is going, then you are right. I also saw the trailer and shared it.

It is a much- awaited movie. I have felt the goosebumps just as the musical score started. I was expecting that there will be shots with dialogue in the trailer though but the musical score itself already gave what I wanted the treatment of the scenes. Yes, all of us know the life story of the late Brother Felix Y. Manalo because just last year, during the centennial celebration of the Church of Christ, a play was shown in the Philippine Arena entitled “Ang Sugo – a stage play”.

And now there it is. The movie trailer.

On the technical side upon seeing this trailer, one can already tell that the budget on this movie was well spent—on the costumes, setting, technical scores and production. The angles of the camera were well placed and the execution of the entire movie was almost perfect. It seems that everything was well planned and strategized.

I felt nothing but happiness and that happiness up until now can be seen as I am writing this. Who wouldn’t right? As a member of the Church of Christ, I have been waiting for this for so long. And then last night as I saw the trailer, I also felt proud because this is not just some kind of a mediocre movie. We can consider this movie as one of the proud accomplishments of the Iglesia Ni Cristo.

At the beginning I can already tell that this movie will be wonderful. This will be a classic, and should be. Indeed, there a lots of blessings that we must be thankful for.

And the actors were great too! They made their characters come to life as they played it and they were really good.

I am excited and my heart’s pounding. I sure will watch this and I won’t mind falling in line for many hours just so I can watch it.

I will absolutely wait for October 7. And I know many of us will also wait for the movie to be shown in theaters nationwide.
