DOTr suspends three private emission test centers for alleged falsification of test results

(Eagle News)–The Department of Transportation has suspended several private emission testing centers for alleged falsification of emission test results.

Ordered suspended for 90 days were  the following:

1. PRIMA SMOKE EMISSION TESTING CENTER in San Jose, Camarines Sur

2. TRIPLE D EMISSION TEST CENTER on
Romulo Highway, San Vicente, Tarlac City

3. AND 01 EMISSION TESTING CENTER in
Agora Pob, Tubod (Capital), Lanao Del Norte

Copies of the suspension order were also served to the test centers’ IT service provider, the Department of Transportation said.

The agency said the providers shall be subject to the same penalties should they “disregard the said order by continuing to process any data transmitted by such (test centers).”
