(Eagle News)–The mayor of Clarin, Misamis Occidental was killed in an ambush on Friday, Oct. 25.
Authorities said Mayor David Navarro was shot while on board a vehicle by still-unidentified men on M.Velez Street in Cebu past 1 p.m.
He was reportedly on his way to the Cebu City Prosecutors Office for his hearing on charges he punched a massage therapist and molested a girl inside a spa.
The alleged crime took place a day before the ambush.
The mayor was included in the druglist of President Duterte. Mar Gabriel
