5 soldiers injured in Maguindanao blast

(Eagle News)– Five soldiers were wounded by a blast from an improvised explosive device in Maguindanao on Sunday. PFC Maguncia, PFC Purol, Pvt. Ramirez,  1Lt. Jano Cyril C. Reyes and PFC Crispo–who are all members of the 57th Infantry Battalion—were wounded after the IED hit their vehicle in Barangay Meta in Datu Unsay around 7:30 a.m. There are no other details available. Authorities are still investigating the incident.

Joanna Demafelis’ remains arrive in Iloilo

(Eagle News)– The body of Joanna Demafelis arrived in Iloilo on Saturday, days after she was found in a freezer in an abandoned apartment in Kuwait. Bilis Cave, malapit nang buksan sa publiko upang maging isa sa tourist spots sa Baguio City

Ombudsman suspends Aurora governor for nine months

Suspected Abu Sayyaf members abduct gov’t engineer in Sulu

(Eagle News) — Suspected  members of the Abu Sayyaf abducted a government engineer in Sulu on Wednesday. The police said Enrico Nee, a Department of Public Works and Highways drill supervisor, was  leaving his house in Barangay Upper San Raymundo in Jolo when the abduction took place around 8 a.m. The suspects fled toward Barangay Anuling in Patikul on board a vehicle.
