JUST IN: “Tisoy” makes landfall in Gubat, Sorsogon; typhoon slightly intensifies

(Eagle News)–Typhoon “Tisoy” has made landfall in Sorsogon and has slightly intensified, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said. According to PAGASA, “Tisoy” was last spotted in the coastal waters of Gubat, packing maximum sustained winds of 175  kph near the center and gustiness of up to 240 kph. It is moving west at 15 kph.
