President Aquino: US patrols in South China Sea not a problem

President Benigno S. Aquino said that US patrols in the West Philippine Sea is not a problem and that he welcomes a balance of power in the region. Last day for application of special permits for buses

According to the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), today is the last day for bus operators to apply for special permit to be able to travel in November 1. This measure is to ensure that commuters will have sufficient means of transportation during the said holiday. The LTFRB added that 960 bus operators have been issued special permits. PAGASA: Expect worst drought over different provinces

Some provinces in the country is expected to experience the severe drought conditions in years, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its advisory.
