Government workers will receive bonus in November

Good news for government employees. According to Budget and Management Secretary Florencio Abad, they will start releasing the year-end bonus of said employees in mid-November. Said bonus is composed of one month salary as well as an additional Php 5, 000 as cash gift. Agricultural groups blame traders for onion price hike

According to agricultural groups, the traders and businessmen should be blamed for the sudden increase in the price of onion and added that the current price hike is artificial. Senate to begin “bullet-planting” probe on Thursday; Abaya among resource persons

The Senate scheduled on Thursday, November 12 its inquiry into the “bullet-planting” extortion scheme at the country’s airports. Sen. A body of a man in breathing apparatus was rushed out of # 36 Tandang Sora, Quezon City last Monday night, November  9. Next president will have higher salary

If the Salary Standardization Law endorsed by President Aquino is approved by the Senate, the salary of the next president will also increase from Php 120, 000 to Php 388, 000. QC Council bans students from computer shops during school hours
