PNP to disarm police who fail firearms proficiency test

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa said that he will not hesitate to disarm police who will fail the firearms proficiency test. The PNP chief said the PNP will conduct a firearm proficiency assessment at the end of the third quarter and that its personnel must pass this assessment. Dela Rosa also emphasized the need for firearms proficiency, especially in the war against illegal drugs.
