The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin and an aftershock of the 6.2-magnitude offshore quake in the province on May 31,hit 65 kilometers southeast of General Generoso at 4:45 a.m. The depth of focus was 55 kilometers.
