Nograles: At least P16 billion needed to implement mandatory ROTC

(Eagle News)–The government needs at least P16 billion to implement mandatory Reserve Officers Training Corps. at the senior high school level. 3.0-magnitude quake hits Occidental Mindoro

(Eagle News)-A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro early Saturday, Aug. 24. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 12 kilometers southeast of Paluan at 2:20 a.m. Depth of focus was seven kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
