3.3-magnitude quake hits Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, Sept. 19. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 110 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 7:57 a.m. Depth of focus was one kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

DOJ: Two other convicts in Chiong rape-slay surrender

Duterte orders total revamp at BuCor

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has ordered a total revamp at the Bureau of Corrections. Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo made the revelation on Wednesday, Sept. 18, a day after Duterte appointed Gerald Bantag at the helm of the agency hounded by corruption issues.
