MANILA, Philippines (Eagle News) — A four-year-old Filipino-British boy – Ethan Richmond Llanes – met President Rodrigo R. Duterte at the Malacañang Palace. Ethan has become an internet sensation after posting a series of videos expressing his support for the president as early as the campaign season for the may elections on his Facebook page. Ethan even did a ‘Duterte pose’ while the president was watching him as he sat on the chair.

Low Pressure Area now a tropical storm
QUEZON City, Philippines (Eagle News) – The low pressure area monitored by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration has developed into a full-blown storm and was given the designation “Enteng”. Martial Law “victim” claims processing done by 2017
(Eagle News)– The Human Rights Victims’ Claims Board (HRVCB) announced on Wednesday that the reviewing of claims for compensation from Martial Law victims will be finished next year. HRVCB Chairperson Lina Sarmiento said they already cross-checked 17,000 out of 75,000 applications. The board has until May 12, 2018 to finish processing the compensation for Martial Law victims.
