Carranglan, Nueva Ecija MTC physically closed until Oct. 6

(Eagle News)–The Municipal Trial Court of Carranglan, Nueva Ecija is physically closed until October 6.

A memorandum from Judge  Marjorie Maranan-Dempsey said the temporary closure, which started on Sept. 22, was  to allow for the 14-day quarantine of the entire staff of the court, after the presiding judge had contact with a person who died from COVID-19 on Sept. 17, and had exposure to another personnel who tested positive for the virus on Sept. 21.

The  quarantine was upon the directive of the municipal health office of Carrangalan.

“The personnel are ordered to strictly stay at home unless there is extreme necessity to leave their residences. Whoever is experiencing symptoms is likewise encouraged to report it to the clerk of court or the MHO for medical assistance,” the judge said.

The court, however, can still attend to the needs of the public through the mobile number 09062312648.

“For strict compliance,” the judge said.
