Companion also arrested
(Eagle News)–An alleged member of the Abu Sayyaf was arrested in Zamboanga on Friday, Oct. 25.
Authorities said Saribin C. Jamilon
alyas Renato Menez, 43, was nabbed by members of the police and the military kn Don Toribio St., Barangay Tetuan, at 2 a.m.
Also nabbed was his companion, Sarah Leila Akbar Jamilon.
During the operation, an M16 Rifle, one AK 47 Rifle, one M14 Rifle, three cal 45 rifles, one cal 38, one hand grenade and one rifle grenade with several ammunition were recovered.
No civilians were injured during the operation.
