Aftershocks continue in Cotabato days after 6.3-magnitude quake

(Eagle News)–Aftershocks continued in Cotabato following a 6.3-magnitude earthquake there on Oct. 16.

At least ten aftershocks hit the province since early Sunday, Oct. 20, with magnitudes ranging from 3.2 to 1.9.

The aftershock with the highest magnitude, the 3.2 one, struck 24 kilometers southeast of Tulunan at 4:21 a.m.

Depth of focus was five kilometers.

The 1.9-magnitude aftershock, on the other hand, hit 21 kilometers southwest of the area at 1:57 a.m.

Depth of focus was 19 kilometers.

No damage to property was recorded in both cases.
