3.6-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte on Friday, Jan. 31.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:46 p.m., had its epicenter 62 kilometers northeast of Burgos.

Depth of focus was one kilometer.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
