(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Thursday, Oct. 24.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 60 kilometers northeast of Burgos at 8:25 p.m.
Depth of focus was 16 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
