Cloudy skies expected in parts of N. Luzon today, Sept. 28

(Eagle News)–Cloudy skies are expected in parts of Northern Luzon today, Sept. 28.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers are expected over the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Aurora, Batanes, Cagayan, Quirino, Isabela and Nueva Vizcaya due to localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and Aurora Province, PAGASA said.

The weather bureau said  coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

As of 4 a.m., the center of Tropical Depression “Onyok” was estimated 1,100 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to kph.

It is moving northwest at 30 kph.
