(Eagle News)—A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Occidental on Thursday, May 16.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 339 kilometers southeast of Sarangani at 8:48 a.m.
The depth of focus of the quake was 82 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
