ALBAY, Philippines (Eagle News) — Residents of Barangay Masarawag in Guinobatan, Albay are now in evacuation centers, arriving there since 4 p.m. Monday, January 15.
About 40 people occupied 30 classrooms in Guinobatan West Central School as of Monday night. Some of the residents had dinner inside the evacuation centers.
At around 7 p.m. Monday, the school principal Haydee Cadag conducted an orientation of the room coordinators.
Other evacuees had to be housed in other evacuation centers as the classrooms were already occupied.
