5.3-magnitude quake strikes off Occidental Mindoro

(Eagle News) –A 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck off Occidental Mindoro on Tuesday, March 16.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake that hit at 8:09 a.m. was an aftershock of the 6.4-magnitude quake that struck Lubang on March 14.

The epicenter of Tuesday’s quake was 82 kilometers northwest of Lubang.

The depth of focus was 11 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
