5.1-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Sunday, Oct. 23.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 10:15 a.m.

The epicenter was 447 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 259 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
