5.0-magnitude quake hits Zambales

(Eagle News)–A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Zambales on Friday, March 13.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 6 a.m., had its epicenter 123 kilometers southwest of San Antonio.

It had a depth of focus of 27 kilometers.

No damage to property was expected, but aftershocks were.
