4.6-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News) — A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Monday, May 23.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 1:37 p.m.

The epicenter was 238 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was nine kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
