4.5-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte on Sunday, June 13.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the earthquake hit at 8:51 a.m.

It had its epicenter 49 kilometers northeast of Burgos.

The depth of focus was two kilometers.

The following instrumental intensity was reported:
Intensity I- Surigao City, Surigao del Norte

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
