(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Cotabato early Wednesday, Oct. 23.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, an aftershock of the 6.3-magnitude earthquake that hit the province on Oct. 16, struck 22 kilometers southeast of Tulunan at 2:45 a.m.
Depth of focus was seven kilometers.
The following intensity and instrumental intensities were recorded:
Intensity III- Kidapawan City
Instrumental Intensities:
Intensity IV- Malungon, Sarangani
Intensity III- Koronadal City
Intensity II – Tupi, South Cotabato
Intensity I- Alabel, Sarangani
No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
