4.5-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Wednesday, May 3.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 196 kilometers east of Balut Island at 9:23 a.m.

The depth of focus was 107 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
