(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Batanes early Sunday, March 27.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the earthquake hit at 1:57 a.m.
The epicenter was 50 kilometers southeast of Basco.
The depth of focus was 3 kilometers.
No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
