4.4-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental early Wednesday

(Eagle News)–A 4.4-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Wednesday, March 27.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 3:22 a.m.

The epicenter was 388 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 78 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
