4.4- magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.4- magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 8:07 a.m.

The epicenter was 320 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The quake was tectonic in origin.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
