4.2-magnitude quake strikes off Eastern Samar early Monday, July 26

(Eagle News) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Eastern Samar early Monday, July 26.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has said the earthquake hit at 5:13 a.m.

It had its epicenter 55 kilometers southeast of Guiuan.

The depth of focus was 15 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
