4.2-magnitude quake hits Tawi-Tawi early Wednesday

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Tawi-Tawi early Wednesday, June 3.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 12:37 a.m., had its epicenter 320 kilometers southeast of South Ubian.

Depth of focus was 31 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
