4.2-magnitude quake hits N. Samar

(Eagle News)–A 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck off Northern Samar on Saturday, Oct. 31.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 4:32 a.m., had its epicenter 23 kilometers southeast of Mapanas.

It had a depth of one kilometer.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
