4.1-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Norte on Friday, Jan. 22.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 35 kilometers southeast of General Luna at 3:59 p.m.

It had a depth of 16 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
