4.1-magnitude earthquake strikes off Northern Samar

(Eagle News)–A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Northern Samar on Wednesday, May 11.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 5:24 p.m.

The epicenter was 59 kilometers northeast of Mapanas.

The depth of focus was 20 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
