4.1-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental early Tuesday

(Eagle News) — A 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Tuesday, Oct. 4.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 1:13 a.m.

The epicenter was 161 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 160 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
