4.0-magnitude quake strikes off Surigao del Sur early Thursday, Nov. 12

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Thursday, Nov. 12.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 1:07 a.m., had its epicenter 30 kilometers northeast of Bayabas.

It had a depth of 25 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
