4.0-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental early Thursday, Oct. 6

(Eagle News) — A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental early Thursday, Oct. 6.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, the quake hit at 1:45 a.m.

The epicenter was 131 kilometers southeast of Balut Island.

The depth of focus was 13 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
