4.0-magnitude earthquake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Sunday, Oct. 8.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit at 7:18 a.m.

Its epicenter was 51 kilometers southeast of Jose Abad Santos.

The depth of focus was 127 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
