3.9-magnitude quake strikes off Davao Occidental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake struck off Davao Occidental on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 282 kilometers southwest of Sarangani at 2:43 a.m.

Depth of focus was 246 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
