3.7-magnitude quake hits Batangas

(Eagle News)–A 3.7-magnitude earthquake struck Batangas today, May 29.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 8:30 a.m., had its epicenter 10 kilometers southwest of San Luis.

It had a depth of three kilometers.

The following intensities and instrumental intensities were reported:

Intensity II – Taal, Batangas

Instrumental Intensities:

Intensity I – Calatagan, Batangas; Tagaytay City

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
