3.6-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Saturday, Sept. 26.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 11:33 a.m., had its epicenter 112 kilometers northeast of Bayabas.

It had a depth of 23 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
