3.5-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur early Saturday

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur early Saturday, Nov. 7.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 1:36 a.m., had its epicenter 42 kilometers southeast of Bayabas.

It had a depth of 15 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were reported.
