3.5-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Norte early Monday, Sept. 2.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 32 kilometers southeast of General Luna at 2:53 a.m.

Depth of focus was 2 kilometers.

No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
